Care Home Fees

Our fees are charged on a weekly basis, based on the rates agreed with North Lanarkshire Council Social Work Department for Social Work assisted residents. Fee levels for privately funded and FPC funded residents are set at a commercial level detailed below. This year a below inflation rise of 3.6% was applied. Fees are increased annually in April, and we will advise residents or their representatives as soon as possible of the new rates applicable.

The fees for our Care Home for the year commencing April 2011 are:-

Social Work funded residents	Single Room	£550.81 per week
	Shared Room	£525.81 per week

Private/ FPC funded residents	Single Room	£570.81 per week
	Shared Room	£545.81 per week

Residents in receipt of Free Personal & Nursing Care funding will receive a flat rate contribution of £231.00 per week and are required to meet the difference personally.

Valuables

Whilst in our care it is important that your personal belongings are safe. In order to ensure this we would ask that all valuables and money are handed to the office for safe keeping. The Home cannot be held responsible for valuables not handed in.

Pocket Money

With so many visitors to the Home it is not possible to guarantee the safe-keeping of cash. In order to ensure all residents have access to their money, should it be required, the Home operates a pocket money service. This allows residents to keep small amounts of cash in the safe which can be accessed daily through the admin office. An Out-of-hours fund is held by the Nurse in Charge and can be accessed by staff at the weekend in the case of emergencies. All balances are checked monthly by the administrator and countersigned by a member of the management.
